So I think I might be pregnant but not sure. I’ve got all the symptoms. Nauseas, horrible headaches, extreme bloating. I’ve gained a lot of weight. Now clear mucus like discharge?

Is It Possible To Ovulate During Pregnancy?

The answer is NO

Ovulation is when a mature egg is released by ovary. The egg will then move through the follopian tube towards the uterus to be fertilized.

In other words, ovulation actually takes place in your body in order to prepare your body for pregnancy. This is why period ceases when one become pregnant, generally in anticipation of ovulation, the lining of the uterus builds up. Ovulation occurs.

Then if the egg is unfertilized, the lining of the uterus is shed, you have your period.
If however an egg implants, the lining does not shed and your body put ovulation on pause since there is no longer any biological reason to ovulate at the moment .
Though pregnant women do have discharge, so you could be pregnant but of course you can’t know for sure until you see if your next period comes or not.

But why do one feel pregnant when they are not?

1.The Urge.

I found out that the urge of being pregnant for a lot of women can cause most of them to have all sort of symptoms, but this is only because they get excited about the idea of being pregnant.

2.Ovulation and/ or Period.
Another reason of why you feel pregnant and these such symptoms is also ovulation or and or period, that have similar symptoms of pregnancy such as breast tenderness, nausea, headaches etc.

And if actually you are pregnant and still having some discharge, it could be completely normal pregnancy discharge, which is generally a bit more than normal.

And what if I had period while pregnant?
No. You can’t have your period while you are pregnant.
Spotting and light bleeding during pregnancy is not the same thing as period and its not always a cause for concern.
you experience spotting or light bleeding during first trimester. Don’t panic, this happens when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining.

When Should I Call My Doctor?
Spotting during pregnancy can be normal but its can also be a sign of trouble.
If bleeding heavingly similar to period’s like or bleeding is accompanied by pain, dizziness ,cramping or pain in the abdomen or pelvis. contact your healthcare provider or your midwife immediately to get checked.

Conclusion:  To be on the safe side, always talk  to your doctor, midwife or healthcare provider.
